AI visibility guide
How the SearchedBy free scan works
The short answer
We ask AI five questions for you, built from what you sell and your market. We ask ChatGPT with search, Perplexity, Google's AI Overviews and Claude with search, in your customers' language, and at the same time run 21 automated checks on your site. In about two minutes you see who AI names and what matters most to fix.
It's free and there's no account to create: just your email, so we can send you a code. In this beta, Pablo reviews every result after it appears on screen.
What it measures and what it doesn't
- It measures: whether your site lets search and AI crawlers in, whether the content is in the HTML, structured data, how consistent your details are, language versions, and AI's answers to your five questions.
- It doesn't measure: your Google rankings, your traffic, or what AI would say to other questions. It's one run per question, through each AI's official API (Google's AI Overviews through a data provider), so what you see in the apps can differ.
That's why the result is a first snapshot. Business decisions need many more questions, measured several times: see how to measure.
What data we use
We read a few public pages of your site the way a browser does, and request some again identifying as crawlers, to see whether you let them in. Nothing private, nothing behind a login. We keep your domain, the results and your email. For the AI questions we send the site, the brand, competitors and the questions to the AI providers; your email, never. We don't sell data.
The four steps
Your site and your email
You enter your website and your email. We send you a 6-digit code to confirm the email is yours.
The code
You enter the code. It's valid for 15 minutes; if it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or ask for a new one.
What you sell and where
You tell us what you sell in your customers' words and pick your market, out of 7 country and language options. We write the five questions from that, and you see them as you type.
The scan and the result
In about two minutes you see how often AI names you, who it names instead, which sites it cites, your technical foundation out of 100 across 8 areas, and the 3 findings that matter most.
Common questions
How long does it take?
About two minutes from the start. If an assistant is slow to answer, the result still appears and that part fills in afterwards.
Are all five questions always asked?
Not always. If we can't ask them, for example for a local business with no town or when the daily limit is reached, you see the technical part only and the result says so.
Why do you need my email?
To send you the code and the link to your result, and to limit how many scans one person can run. You don't need to create an account.
Will you call or email me to sell me something?
Not unless you ask. If you want to go further, you can request an assessment from the result; if not, that's fine.
